1)Business Plans and Services for Start-up Ventures - Our experience in small business lending is reflected in our professional and well-written plans. We avoid the common mistakes found in many business plans. Our business plans focus on the information needed by lenders and investors to make informed and secure decisions. We use an interactive process to ensure that the business owner's vision and commitment are reflected in their plan. Lenders and investors, when presented with a complete and well-written business plan, will form the impression that the business owners understand the business and are capable of managing the operation.
In addition, we can help set up the support structures needed to operate a new business. This can include accounting systems and procedures, human resource manuals, management systems, reporting policies, operational procedures and controls, implementation of marketing campaigns, etc.
2) Government Contracting Opportunities - Our understanding of these programs will save time and prevent headaches for a business owner - allowing them to focus on their many other responsibilities. We help businesses receive designation as Minority, Disadvantaged or Small Business Enterprises. We can also help prepare bids, proposals and any other paperwork necessary. In addition to handling the intensive paperwork, we will develop a plan for each business so they can efficiently manage the bidding and contracting process and maximize the benefits available under these programs.
3) Strategic Planning and Consultation - We can provide consulting services on any scale: from developing new marketing strategies to orchestrating a full 'turnaround' for a struggling company. Our creative approach helps business owners to recognize problem areas, develop solutions and find new opportunities. We will even 'roll up our sleeves' and help the business with the tasks needed to carry out their plan.
4) Financing and Lender Relationship Support - Our relationship with a preferred SBA lender allows us to directly provide financial services. We also have agreements with traditional and alternative lending sources for loan amounts from $5,000 to $4,000,000. When conventional lending is not an option, we can consult with businesses on how to attract and secure investors. We can also assist in the negotiation process and will help move the deal forward.
We also offer businesses support with existing lender relationships. This can include assistance in negotiating loan renewals, modifying existing loans, compliance issues, etc. Recently, we helped a business to receive a deferral on their small business loan and renegotiate terms with their landlord.

LEADERSHIP
Commercial Resource Partners was formed when its founder, Tim Flaherty, noticed a demand for interrelated services that focus on the real needs of small business owners. Prior to specializing in small business consulting, Mr. Flaherty worked as a commercial lender in the Arizona small business community for over 14 years. During this time, he performed all functions in the lending process: from loan origination and underwriting to servicing and liquidation. He is particularly fortunate to have worked with a wide variety of businesses and many remarkable entrepreneurs. These experiences are invaluable and continue to build an appreciation and admiration for America's small businesses.
Business planning and consulting is a natural extension of Mr. Flaherty's lending experience and ability. All of these services share a common base of knowledge and require similar types of responsibilities, skill sets and professionalism.
